This Film is compiled footage recorded between 2021-2022 on a Sony Hi8 camera. It debuted at the FXHB museum in Berlin, Germany in 2021 as part of the exhibit; "The Birth of Techno, From Detroit Nach Berlin", alongside the works of veteran artist Abu Qadim Haqq and curated by Arastu Salehi of "Art Is The Place" Agency. Since then the exhibit has found a new home and the film can now be seen at the MOMEM (Museum of Modern Electronic Music) in Frankfurt, Germany. This film serves as a kind of video journal, primarily based in the East side neighborhood of Islandview, in Detroit, Michigan during the pandemic. It starts as a loose narrative initially following musician Jay Daniel through his day to day, cruising the city, an improv jam session starring fellow musician Omar Meftah, a set at the club Spot Lite, and then pivoting to the director, Sean Linn, with an afterword from author and professor Idries Shah.
